The barEvery Arc10 engineer is senior or staff level.
There are no junior placements on Arc10 engagements. We do not subcontract to fill margin. We do not pad teams with cheaper engineers and call them “resources.”
This is not a marketing position. It is the operating constraint that makes the rest of the firm possible.
Production AI requires distributed-systems work, observability, API design, and integration depth. Compliance-grade systems require real care with security and data. Long-term partnership requires engineers who can own a workstream without being managed line-by-line.
None of that work survives a junior bench. So we don't build one.
The bar is what makes Arc10 worth hiring; lowering it would unmake the firm.
