What was the problem?

Electronic sales suppression and under economy activity has grown significantly across the globe. CPOS Inc. and Ontario Centres of Excellence (OCE) partnered to explore a new avenue to solve this issue. CPOS Inc approached Arc10 in an effort to utilize members of our software engineering team to create a solution where it can track all real time transactions from POS, Mobile POS, Online sales, and capture all invoices creation from online invoicing solutions, like Quickbooks, Freshbook and Sage.

What did we do?

Arc10 placed a team of software engineers on the project focused on creating the solution from the scratch. Our team addressed features including: user management, identity verification, payment processing, POS device management, franchisor/business registrations and transactions management. The team also developed app for Shopify, QuickBooks, FreshBooks and Sage to capture the online transactions. Our engineers created docker containers for all the microservices they created and deployed on Kubernetes cluster in AWS using CI/CD.

How did they benefit?

Working side-by-side with CPOS Inc’s product team, our software engineers implemented an easy-to-use solution for users along with more structured, robust code. The customer can remotely activate their devices from the STARR portal. It also allows an authority to monitor the live transactions and find any mischief. Our team introduce easy future releases using continuous integration and continuous delivery pipeline with docker and Kubernetes.
